Single-Screw Extruder
Single-screw extruders are extrusion machines widely used in plastic processing, known for their cost-effectiveness, heavy-duty structural stability, and easy operation with minimal maintenance. They are ideal for general-purpose extrusion where consistent output and cost efficiency matter most.
Suitable for clear materials such as PC and PMMA, especially when producing optical-grade or decorative sheets that have strict requirements regarding surface and transparency. During extrusion, the venting section removes trapped gases and moisture, which helps prevent bubbles and improve the appearance of the finished sheet.

Please let us know the material you plan to process and the output you require. Our engineers will then recommend a suitable extruder configuration to improve production stability, thickness consistency and product clarity.
Plastic resin enters through the feed section and moves into the heated barrel. The rotating screw moves the material forward while it is gradually heated, melted and mixed into a uniform melt. Then, the molten resin passes through the die, which forms it into a continuous sheet, board or profile with the required dimensions.
- Simple structure for easier operation and maintenance
- Lower equipment and operating costs than more complex extruder types
- Available in sizes ranging from laboratory units to large industrial models
- Screw design and internal configuration can be matched to the material and finished product
- Suitable for packaging, train flooring, building panels and other sheet, board or profile applications
Our plastic extrusion systems cover applications from thin plastic sheets with a thickness of 0.02 mm to heavy-gauge boards up to 40 mm thick, with production widths exceeding 3 meters. With our portfolio of extruders, downstream equipment and extrusion lines, we provide customized plastic extrusion solutions for manufacturers and processors in food packaging, electronics, automotive, construction, furniture and other industrial applications.
