This type of crusher is installed at the end of the extrusion line to process edge trims from PP, PE, PS, PET and PC sheets. The edge trim cut from both sides of the sheet enters through separate channels, so each side can be crushed without interfering with the other. After crushing, a fan sends the material directly back to the hopper for reuse or into a storage bin for collection. Since the trim does not touch the floor, it can be recycled without contamination, which reduces material waste and makes the unit suitable for high-speed extrusion lines.

Crushers for plastic sheet waste handle rejected sheets produced during line setup, start-up and size changes, as well as waste sheets that have already been wound into rolls. The rolls are placed on an unwinding stand, then speed-controlled feed rollers guide the sheet into the crushing chamber. After crushing, a fan carries the material through the pipes and cyclonic separator, sending it either back to the hopper for reuse or into a storage bin.
